AAVAA is an Progressive Metal project based in Melbourne, Australia.

AAVAA was first conceptualized by composers Dylan Hamilton and Simon Stemberger in August 2017 as a collaborative effort to foster their love for musicianship and composition in the realms of soundtrack media and advanced musical theory. Progressive Metal, as a unique and increasingly popular style of music; was an obvious choice for their mantle of expression.

AAVAA, shortly after, was joined by drumming artist and teacher Daniel Hambrook and classically-trained bari-tenor vocalist Hunter Rogers. The band over a period of a two years has written, practiced and performed many different musical concepts and songs. all of which have been carefully crafted and created to be both enjoyed by a diverse audience of listeners yet garnering the respect of many seasoned listeners of music.
